What Does a Real Interior Car Detail Include? More Than a Fast Vacuum

When somebody tells me their car needs an interior detail, I ask what they are dealing with. Is it everyday dust and crumbs, or are there stains, pet hair, and dirt worked into the carpet? Those are different jobs, and looking at the car first helps me give you a useful answer.

A proper interior cleaning usually starts with getting loose debris out of the way and vacuuming seats, carpets, mats, seams, and the cargo area. Then there are the surfaces you touch every day: steering wheel, controls, cup holders, console, door panels, and trim. Interior glass matters too, especially when glare makes driving at night unpleasant.

What about stains and pet hair?

Fabric stains may need targeted treatment and extraction. Pet hair can take considerably more time than a routine vacuum. Leather calls for products and a method suited to its condition. I do not assume every stain will disappear; age, material, and what caused it all matter. I’ll point out anything that may remain before we begin.

What affects the quote?

A lightly used sedan and a large family SUV with heavily soiled upholstery should not carry the same scope. Vehicle size, condition, and the areas you want us to concentrate on determine the work. Tell me about any spills, odors, or trouble spots. Two interior photos are especially helpful, along with a couple of exterior photos if you want a full vehicle quote.
